Sales decks on Reveal.js (AI optional)
Build the customer deck or the enablement deck, then keep it as a file: Reveal.js HTML that lives next to your playbooks, PDF and PPTX for the buyer who asks for an attachment. Free is unlimited manual decks with no credit card and no AI; AI drafting is optional and lives on Pro and Unlimited. We are not a CRM, we do not sell viewer analytics, and there is no sales team here to book — this is self-serve, and the price on the page is the price.
The job: the deck outlives the meeting
Account executives and enablement build slides on a deadline and then have to live with them. The constraints are not the ones a design tool optimises for:
- A fast draft is not the deliverable. Getting to a first outline quickly is genuinely useful the morning a deal moves. What you are judged on is the artifact afterwards — the leave-behind the buyer forwards internally, the version the next rep reuses.
- The customer wants an attachment. Plenty of buyers will not open a vendor link at all, and will ask for a PPTX or a PDF they can drop into their own review. That is a file, not a URL.
- Enablement content should sit with the playbooks. An HTML bundle checked in next to the battlecards is versioned with the pitch it encodes, diffable when the pricing story changes, and still openable when the person who made it has moved on.
- A cloud-only share link is a risk on a regulated deal. Some buyers will not click a third-party viewer, and some security reviews will not let them. A file you hand over routes through their process instead of ours. To be straight about our side of that: we publish no compliance certification, and we are not going to imply one — the honest version is that the export leaves our service and becomes yours.
- Share links die. A URL works while somebody keeps paying and the vendor keeps existing, and neither is your decision — see what happened to Tome. A deck you exported has a different failure mode: essentially none.
How it works here
AI Slide Generator is a presentation builder on Reveal.js. We did not invent Reveal.js — it is an independent open-source project, and we are an editor and exporter on top of it.
- Free ($0): unlimited manual decks and slides, all templates, export HTML, PDF, and PPTX. No AI. No credit card. Free has no AI, and we are not going to re-label the manual editor as free AI generation.
- The HTML is yours to keep and host. The Reveal.js export is a self-contained bundle: commit it to the enablement repo, publish it from any static host, serve it on an internal box, or open it off a laptop with no network in a customer meeting room with bad wifi. It does not call back to us to render, and it does not stop working if you close your account.
- PPTX and PDF for the customer. Same deck, three artifacts — the PPTX is the one you attach to the follow-up email. It is an export for someone else to open, not a live-editable master, and web-only effects do not survive the conversion.
- AI on paid only: the Alie assistant, AI images, and prompt-to-deck are Pro and Unlimited features. Useful for a first pass at a deck you are going to rewrite in your own words anyway; not required to use the product.
- API access on Unlimited: a server-side API for generating decks programmatically — the sort of thing an internal tool calls to stamp out a per-account deck. It runs through our service; it is not a CLI, an npm package, or a self-hosted renderer, and it is not on Free or Pro.
- What is not here: no CRM, no pipeline or opportunity tracking, no Salesforce or HubSpot sync, no viewer analytics, no content library with permissions, no Team seats or SSO. We sell an editor and an export.
Read one pricing column or the other: monthly list prices are $0, $15/month, and $39/month; the yearly toggle is shown separately below and on the pricing page.
Who this is not for
- You want free AI to mass-produce pitch variants per account. Free has no AI, and the paid tiers are metered by month, not by seat or by deal.
- You want a CRM, pipeline, or forecast from us. We do not sell one and do not integrate with one. A deck tool that claims to also run your pipeline is selling you two products and shipping one.
- You want viewer analytics — who opened the deck, which slide they stopped on, a notification when it gets forwarded. We do not sell that. Hosted deck tools do, and that is a different product, not a gap in theirs.
- You run multiplayer rehearsal and review — a team rehearsing in one document with in-deck comments. We have no live co-editing; that is Pitch territory.
- You want Team seats, an admin console, or SSO to roll a deck standard out to a sales org. We do not sell Team, Enterprise, or SSO.
- Your deck is really a link you send buyers, scrolled more than presented — a hosted, card-based web deck is the better shape, see Gamma.
- You want automatic on-brand layout so a rep cannot break the corporate template — closer to Beautiful.ai.
- You came here looking for our sales team. There is not one. Everything is self-serve through the pricing page; there is no account executive, no demo booking, and no quote.
Compared with hosted slide SaaS
The honest split: they sell a hosted deck, the audience experience, and the reporting around it; we export files you own. We do not sell CRM, pipeline tracking, or viewer analytics, and we are not going to frame our missing half as a flaw in theirs.
| Sales need | Typical hosted slide SaaS | AI Slide Generator |
|---|---|---|
| PPTX the customer can open | Often plan-gated — check the vendor’s own page. | Yes, on Free. Plus PDF and Reveal.js HTML. |
| A file you keep if you stop paying | Generally no. The deck lives in their player. | Yes. The export does not phone home. |
| Present with no network in a customer room | Often partial or plan-gated. | Exported HTML runs locally. |
| Unlimited manual decks at $0 | Rare. Free tiers usually meter AI credits instead. | Yes. Free has no AI, and no cap on manual work. |
| Viewer analytics on a shared deck | Often a headline feature for sales teams. | We do not sell it. A file you host cannot report back to us. |
| CRM, pipeline, or deal tracking | Some integrate with a CRM — verify on their own docs. | No. We are not a CRM and we do not sync with one. |
| Programmatic deck generation | Varies, commonly an enterprise add-on. | API access on Unlimited ($39/month), server-side. |
| Team seats, shared library, SSO | Yes, on team plans. | No. Individual plans only. |

FAQ
Does the Free plan include AI?
No. Free is unlimited manual decks, every template, and HTML, PDF, and PPTX export, with no credit card. AI generation — the Alie assistant, AI images, prompt-to-deck — is on Pro and Unlimited only. Free has no AI. A sales page is exactly where a vendor is tempted to let "AI sales deck" imply the AI half is free, and we are not going to blur that to win the click.
Do you have a CRM, pipeline, or opportunity tracking?
No. We are a presentation builder and exporter, not a CRM. There is no account record, no contact object, no opportunity or deal stage, no pipeline view, no forecast, no quota dashboard, and no sync with Salesforce, HubSpot, or anything else. Nothing you do here moves a deal forward in a system of record, because we do not have one. If a page sells you slides and a pipeline in the same breath, check which half actually ships.
Can I export a PPTX to send a customer?
Yes. The same deck exports to HTML, PDF, and PPTX, and all three are on Free. PPTX is what you attach when a buyer asks for "the deck" and will open it in PowerPoint or Google Slides. Be clear-eyed about what a PPTX export is: a file for someone else to open, not a live-editable master that round-trips back here — web-only effects do not survive the conversion. If your enablement team maintains one canonical PPTX that everybody edits in place, that workflow belongs in PowerPoint, not here.
Is there a sales team I can book a call with?
No, and that is not a stalling answer. This product is self-serve: you create an account, and if you want AI you subscribe through Stripe at the list price on the pricing page. There is no account executive, no discovery call, no demo booking, no quote, no procurement motion, and no sales queue behind any button on this site. The prices you see are the prices — there is nothing to negotiate and nobody to negotiate with. We removed that call-to-action from our own pricing page rather than leave a button that goes nowhere.
Do you sell viewer analytics — who opened the deck, and how far they got?
No. We export files you own and host; we do not sell viewer analytics, engagement scoring, or a tracked share link as a product. A deck sitting in your enablement repo, on your static host, or attached to an email cannot report back to us by design, and we would have to take the file away from you to change that. Several hosted deck tools sell exactly this to sales teams and sell it well — if knowing that a buyer reached the pricing slide is what you are buying, buy it from them, not from us.
Do you sell a Team plan, SSO, or seats for an enablement team?
No to all three. We do not sell Team seats, Enterprise, or SSO, and there is no shared workspace, live co-editing, content library with permissions, or admin console. Free and the two paid plans are individual, so a ten-person sales team here is ten individual accounts, not a managed one. That is a real limitation for enablement, not a roadmap hint, and we would rather you read it now than after a rollout.
